You probably already know there are a ton of different food delivery apps that allow you to order food from lots of your favorite restaurants. But if you’re looking to save money, which food delivery app offers the cheapest food? We looked at six of the most popular delivery apps and broke down their prices to figure out which one offers the cheapest food overall. Spoiler alert: It’s not UberEats! Here are the top five cheap food delivery apps.
Postmates offers delivery service from restaurants and retail stores, making it easy to get what you need delivering right to your door. Currently serving over 250 cities in 40 states across North America, Postmates is available on both iPhone and Android. Postmates prices are reasonable and they often offer promo codes so that you can save even more money on your order. But, did you know that there are ways to make even bigger savings? Here are a few of my tips for getting a cheap food delivery app: Use a Promo Code: Applying a promo code will almost always give you an instant discount on your purchase. In some cases, these discounts can be more than 25% off!
Caviar is an Uber-like delivery app that allows you to order food from some of your favorite restaurants and have it delivered directly to your doorstep. It’s one of my favorite cheap food delivery apps out there because it has a wide selection of restaurants and offers free delivery for orders over $10. That’s pretty generous for a service that costs $4.99 per month. No wonder Caviar is one of my go-to apps for ordering cheap food!
DoorDash is a restaurant delivery service available in select cities. You can order from restaurants that don’t offer delivery services, like Denny’s, and have food delivered straight to your door for a low price. Learn more about DoorDash here .
UberEats is an extension of Uber, one of my favorite services ever. One reason I love Uber so much is that it helps me get from point A to point B quickly and efficiently. On top of that, it’s cheap and user-friendly. In fact, most orders cost less than $10. There are a lot of people who have never used Uber because they don’t have access to a ride-sharing service where they live.
5) Yelp Eat24
Eat24 is one of Yelp’s very own food delivery apps and it happens to be my favorite. What sets Eat24 apart from its competitors is their massive selection of restaurants, low prices and simple ordering process. Also, if you haven’t noticed from other reviews, I happen to really like Yelp so I tend to put them on a pedestal for that reason alone. The app lets you browse restaurants by category or search for something specific by location. In terms of pricing, you can expect to pay between $2-$8 depending on which restaurant you order from and it will take anywhere between 20-45 minutes depending on how busy they are at that time.
